Yogyakarta- The reconstruction of House of Representatives (DPR) building which is scheduled to perform the laying the first stone on next June 22, is considered a symbol of conscience blind of people of the house at Senayan.

The statement was expressed by head of Institute for Wisdom and Public Policy Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Province, Arif Jamali Muis met at the office of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Province, on Wednesday (13/04/2011). According to Arif Jamali, what most members of the house to approve the construction of new buildings, proving that they had already closed their conscience to the fact that many people of Indonesia still live below the poverty line, and need legislature supervision in policy which is in contact with the poor . "Should members of the House not close their conscience and see that many people still have no access to shelter and live on the streets,"he explained .

Insistence from the members on the new building, according to Arif Jamali, like humans who have eyes and ears but blind and deaf, "Perhaps these people (House members who insist on the construction of new buildings), which was allegedly in the Koran, people who can see and hear, but their conscience are blind and deaf in accepting the truth, "he explained. Further according to Arif, it is hard to trust and hope the members of the House who remain adamant to construct a new building.
