Surakarta, Central Executive Council of Higher Education in collaboration with Muhammadiyah Surakarta Muhammadiyah University, held a National Conference of head of Muhammadiyah Higher Education. This meeting was held on April 30 - May 1, 2011 at the Auditorium M Djazman Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta.

The meetingis filled with speeches by several keynotes, particularly Director General of Higher Education Ministry of National Education, Prof. Dr. Ir. Djoko Santoso, M.Sc. on "Regulation and Government Policy in the Development of Higher Education: Now and Future",
Director of Institutional and Cooperation Ministry of National Education Prof. Dr. Ir. Achmad Jazidie, M. Eng. "Regulation and Government Policy in Development, Institutional and Cooperation of Higher Education" as well as Director of Education Workforce Ministry of National Education, Prof.. Dr. Supriya Rustad "Government Policy and Regulation in Human Resource Development for Higher Education. "

The conference was attended byAssembly members of Diklitbang and 155 leaeders of Muhammadiyah universities across Indonesia, consisting of 40 Universities, 88 Colleges, 23 Academy, 4 polytechnics, and 14 universities of Aisyiyah.
