MUHAMMADIYAH.ID, YOGYAKARTA – Council of Higher Education, Research and Development (Diktilitbang) of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah achieved ISO 9001:2015 Certificate for an administrative service provider for Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah Higher Education (PTMA).

Secretary of the council Muhammad Sayuti stated that the certification took a year and efforts to gain standards of a quality management system were quite tough.

“Preparation and the process were adequately long. We should prepare for the written and applied Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in detail,” told Sayuti in an interview on Wednesday (8/5).

Sayuti informed that the certification aimed to have standards since the Diktilitbang manages 169 PTMAs throughout Indonesia.

“Muhammadiyah is essentially a modern movement so that we have to possess good management. Indeed, the quality management functions as controlling and planning in order that our services are well-maintained and directed in accordance with visions and missions,” asserted Sayuti.

Besides, the Diktilitbang would like to exemplify the certification to other Muhammadiyah councils and office to do the same.

“Modern management is compatible with Muhammadiyah. Thus, it is expected that the PTMAs are inspired to adapt the modern management system to improve management of their office, finance, academic affairs,” wished Sayuti.
