MUHAMMADIYAH.ID, BANTUL – The Central Board of Muhammadiyah has conducted Pengajian Ramadhan (Ramadhan Preaching) for 37 years. The 37th Ramadhan Preaching was organized on 9-11 May 2019 at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY)
Head of Council of Cadre Education (MPK) of the Central Board of Muhmmadiyah Ari Anshori discussed ‘Minutes of Enlightenment in the Life of Integrity and Nationality: Theological, Ideological and Practical Overviews.’
Talking about the topic, Anshori conveyed that Islam enlightens personal life, family, community, nation, and universal humanity.
“This notion is necessary to moot so that Muhammadiyah members can be educated and can educate people and nation,” declared Ari.
Besides, there were a book launching of ‘Ilmu Amaliah Amal Ilmiah’ by Mohamad Djazman Al Kindi and scholarship handover for Muhammadiyah cadres to study at Department of Medicine and Department of Dentistry.
Meanwhile, Rector of UMY Gunawan Budiyanto informed that the prospective Muhammadiyah doctors will be placed in remote Indonesian areas with tarjih scholars of Muhammadiyah.
On behalf of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah, General Chairman of Muhammadiyah Haedar Nashir thanked UMY for providing Muhammadiyah cadres the scholarships.
“The scholarships may trigger other Muhammadiyah higher education to offer similar scholarships,” expected Haedar.
He also wished that the Muhammadiyah doctor candidates can be Muhammadiyah 'arrows'.
