Surabaya-The rise of kidnapping and brainwashing case allegedly involve one of the organizations promoting the establishment of an Islamic state or NII, forced Muhammadiyah in East Java province to form cadre from the level of Muhammadiyah Ortom to charitable efforts.

This was said by the secretary of Muhammadiyah in East Java Province Nadjib Hamid in East Java PWM office at jl. Kertomenanggal, Surabaya on Thursday (05/05/2011). According to Nadjib, the weak cadre Ortom at this time, was considered as an entry point for other ideologies to flourish, for it Muhammadiyah in East Java province has been instructed its autonomous organizations of Muhammadiyah, particularly those included i Youth Muhammadiyah (AMM) to be respectively more intensified forming its cadre. The role of IPM (Muhammadiyah Student Association), IMM (Muhammadiyah Student Association), Nasyiah, until the Muhammadiyah Youth was seen very significant in preventing the Muslim ideology.

"The intensity needs to be improved for young people not to be eroded by Ideology NII. Yet, not all students were active in the Muhammadiyah organization. They are free to affiliate with other organizations outside the campus, "he explained.
