MUHAMMADIYAH. ID, YOGYAKARTA - General Chairman of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah Haedar Nashir offered his condolences on the passing of Ibu Ani Yudhoyono.

May she be husnul khatimah and may her good deeds be accepted by Allah.

“May her family have patience. Pak Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) and his family had sought the best medical treatment for Ibu Ani. We visited her several months ago at the National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore,” stated Haedar on Saturday (1/6).

“Nevertheless, she left us forever and we have to sincerely let her go. Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un. Indeed we belong to Allah and indeed to Him we will return,” added Haedar.

Ibu Ani, a wife of the sixth President of the Republic of Indonesia, passed away in Singapore at 11.50 a.m. local time on Saturday, 1 June 2019.
