MUHAMMADIYAH.ID, JAKARTA – Visiting Muhammadiyah Dakwah Center of Jakarta on Tuesday (18/6), the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Indonesia Esam Ased Al Thagafi committed to reinforcing cooperation with Indonesia and Muhammadiyah.

“We appreciate Muhammadiyah that possesses a lot of assets as a country. We are one heart,” expressed Esam.

Meanwhile, General Chairman of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah Haedar Nashir welcomed the ambassador with Chairman of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah Anwar Abbas, Head of Special Dakwah Office Muhammad Ziyad, and Head of Council of Foreign Relations Muhyidin Djunaedi.

Haedar stated that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has valued Muhammadiyah whose dakwah is getting greater.

“The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia provides 430 scholarships to study there. Muhammadiyah gains occasions to fill the scholarship quota. Indeed, Muhmmadiyah possesses many educational institutions. Besides, Muhammadiyah has a dakwah program, namely da’I (a preacher) for the outermost remote areas. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia agrees to give funds for the program,” mentioned Haedar.

“The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia seeks to enhance their support to create a better religious life,” inserted Haedar.
