MUHAMMADIYAH.ID, SURABAYA – Nasyiatul Aisyiyah is one of Muhammadiyah’s autonomous organizations focusing on young women and children. Thus, Early-Childhood Education (PAUD) becomes the main concern in Nasyiatul Aisyiyah.

“Nasyiatul Aisyiyah cadres should recognize that the PAUD comprises of kindergarten (TK), a play group (KB) and a place for child care (TPA) or well-known as a daycare,” informed Diyah Puspitarini, Chairwoman of the Central Board of Nasyiatul Aisyiyah in the closing of training of 2013 PAUD Curriculum at Hall of Graha Wiyata of Office of Quality Assurance (LPMP), Jalan Ketintang Wiyata No. 15 Surabaya, Sunday (6/7).

Collaborating with Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, the training raised a theme of ‘2013 PAUD Curriculum: Creating Excellent, Autonomous, and Islamic Generations’. 80 teachers and managers of PAUD Nasyiatul Aisyiyah across Indonesia participated in the three-day training, from Friday to Sunday (5-7/7).

“Some PAUD Nasyiatul Aisyiyah can be role models as PAUD Nasyiatul Aisyiyah in Banyuwangi established since 2003 and PAUD DINAR in Bangil, Pasuruan founded since 2007,” mentioned Diyah.

She stated that Nasyiatul Aisyiyah should create distinctive branding from other PAUDs.

“PAUD Nasyiatul Aisyiyah should possess plus programs so that people are interested in the PAUD. We also should provide inclusive education that students with disabilities can study there without discrimination,” asserted Diyah.

She also expected that the participants of the training could initiate PAUD Nasyiatul Aisyiyah in their hometown.

“We have to keep in touch with both Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah to establish the PAUD Nasyiatul Aisyiyah,” advised Diyah.
