SLEMAN, MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID — General Chairman of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah Haedar Nashir visited Buya Syafii Maarif at RS PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping who suffered an urologic disease.

Haedar went there together with Minister of Education and Culture Muhadjir Effendi, General Chairwoman of the Central Board of Aisyiyah Siti Noordjannah Djohantini, Director General of GTK of Ministry of Education and Culture Dr. Supriyono, and Rector of Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang DR Fauzan, and others.

“Alhamdulillah, Buya’s condition is better and he may go home tomorrow or the day after tomorrow,” informed Haedar on Sunday (28/7).

Buya Syafii, Former General Chairman of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah 2000-2005, has been at PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping, Sleman. Doctors have greatly taken care of him. Many national figures saw him at the hospital such as Minister of State Secretariat and Coordinator of Executive Office of the Presidents of Republic of Indonesia Teten Masduki required by President.

“Let us pray for Buya’s health. He is a national and Muhammadiyah figure well known as an egalitarian, humanist, intellectual, and intellectual whom this nation needs,” declared Haedar.

Besides, a personal assistant of Buya Syafii Erik Tauvani stated that he was taken care at the hospital since Wednesday (24/7). Erik said that Buya told him that there was blood in his urine, but nowBuya is getting healthier. “He is better now, and we can already crack a joke. However, he must totally take rest so that all of his schedules are dismissed,” reported Erik.
