MUHAMMADIYAH.ID, JAKARTA - Inna lillahi wa innaa ilaihi raji'un, Mustasyar of Pengurus Besar Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) K.H. Maimoen Zubair well known as Mbah Moen passed away in Holy City, Mecca on Tuesday (6/8) local time.

General Chairman of the central board of Muhammadiyah Haedar Nashir stated that Mbah Moen was an Islamic figure who highly contributed to peope-oriented politics and this nation.

"He was persistent to give contribution to national politics even though he was getting older," declared Hedar.

Haedar invited all people to pray for Mbah Moen. May he become husnul khotimah.

"I wish that youths can proceed Mbah Moen's roles in national politics prioritizing ethics and ukhuwah," expected Haedar.
