MUHAMMADIYAH.ID, KALASAN - General Chairman of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah Haedar Nashir attended and officially opened a National Meeting (Rakersnas) of Council of Primary and Secondary Education of Muhammadiyah on Thursday (5/9) at Hall of Educational Quality Assurance Board of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY).

Haedar stated that quality of Muhammadiyah education has been great, but it needs more enhancement. There are three reasons why the quality should be improved.

First, Muhammadiyah is a pioneer of modern Islam. ­

“It is necessary for the board of Muhamamdiyah education to advance basic vivid Islamic values integrated in sciences and technology,” declared Haedar.

Second, the board of Muhamamdiyah education has been well-established so that it can be strength of modern institutions to develop Muhammadiyah.

Third, the digital era and industrial revolution requires the reinforcement of excellent human resources.

“No matter how sophisticated technology is, humans play vital roles. Hence, this Rakernas is the relevance to enhance quality of the board of Muhamamdiyah education,” asserted Haedar.
