MUHAMMADIYAH.ID, SAMARINDA – Following up the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the Central Board of Muhammadiyah and Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs promoted a result of the 47th Muhammadiyah Congress in 2015 on a Pancasila State as Darul ‘Ahdi Wasy Syahadah at Universitas Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur (UMKT), Samarinda that DPP of IMM become the co-host.
Before proclaiming the Indonesia’s independence in 1945, Muhammadiyah established in 1912 has implemented Pancasila, particularly the first principle, namely Belief in the Almighty God.
Secretary of Office of Special Dakwah of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah Faozan Amar declared that Muhammadiyah has actively engaged in founding this state.
“Muhammadiyah’s roles were confirmed in the 47th Muhammadiyah Congress in 2015 affirming Pancasila as Darul ‘Ahdi Wasy Syahadah,” informed Faozan.
Furthermore, the other speaker who is also Secretary General of DPP of IMM Roby Karman conveyed, “The implementation of Darul ‘Ahdi Wasy Syahadah for students is undertaken through training to enhance quality of human resources.”
Meanwhile, the Muhammadiyah Regional Board of Kalimantan Timur Abdul Aziz Muslim maintained that Muhamamdiyah asserts that Pancasila is a final so that Muhammadiyah members are obliged to apply it in the life of the nation.
Additionally, the campaigned was conducted along with inauguration of DPD of Muhammadiyah Student Association (IMM) of Kalimantan Timur led by Muhammad at the UMKT on Wednesday, 2 October 2019. It was also attended by the Muhammadiyah Regional Board of Kalimantan Timur, Hizbul Wathan, Pemuda Muhammadiyah, and academicians of the UMKT.
