MUHAMMADIYAH. ID, MALAYSIA– Chairman of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah Dadangt Kahmad stated that this earth belongs to Allah regardless of artificial state boundaries.  Thus, Muhammadiyah’s and the people’s movement (dakwah) should be expanded. Each Muhammadiyah activist has to be a global citizen.

The aforementioned statements were declared by Dadang Kahman when delivering a remark at Musyawarah Cabang (Musycab – Regional Congress) of Muhammadiyah-‘Aisyiyah Special Branch (PCIM-PCIA) of Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday (13/10).

He explained that a paradigm of being a global citizen is essential for an internationalization program of Muhammadiyah in the second century of the establishment.

Here, roles of PCIM are crucial to prepare for the people to be global citizens.

Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah now have seven Muhammadiyah special branches and five ‘Aisyiyah bpecial Branches. Besides, Muhammadiyah possesses autonomous organizations and offices such as IMM, MDMC, and Lazismu of Malaysia.

Appreciating the development, Dadang who leads Majlis of Library and Information of Mummadiyah expected that the PCIM of Malaysia can become a well-organized movement (Bunyan Marsus) which can reinforce the people and this nation.

Additionally, Dadang mentioned Muhamamdiyah’s movement characteristics, namely being sincere, ihsan (excellent), and beneficial for others.

“With Allah’s will, Muhammadiyah can be greater and exist till now,” expressed Dadang.

At the end of his speech, Dadang wished that the PCIM of Malaysia can bolster a program of Muhamamdiyah’s digital media innovation and succeed the Muhammadiyah Congress 2020 raising a theme of ‘enlighten the universe.’
