MUHAMMADIYAH.ID, YOGYAKARTA -The Central Board of Muhammadiyah congratulates President Joko Widodo and Vice President K.H. Ma’ruf Amin on their inauguration.

General Chairman of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah Haedar Nashir expected that they can perform their five-year duties constitutionally, undertake people’s mandate, develop this nation, and achieve the national goals as determined by founding fathers of this nation.

“Responsibilities and future challenges of this nation are tough. However, President and Vice President and Cabinet members can execute people’s mandate constitutionally and sincerely, and the people power and national power bolster the leaders, the onerous tasks can be effectuated.

Besides, Haedar thanked Jusuf Kalla for his dedication as Vice President in two periods.

Haedar contended that Jusuf Kalla gained a lot of achievements and gave his best contribution to Indonesia both domestically and overseas.

“Indeed, Muslims are protected and fostered to be independent. We wish that Bapak Jusuf Kalla always becomes our father and statesman. This nation will always remember his devotion,” expressed Haedar.
