MUHAMMADIYAH.ID, JAKARTA – Notwithstanding requiring in-depth studies, Muhammadiyah will likely establish a nuclear hospital.
“We deliberately learn nuclear and judicial review making from Pakistan,” declared Head of International Relations and Cooperation Office (LKHI) of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah Muhyidin Djunaidi when welcoming the Ambassador of Pakistan H.E. Abdul Salik on Friday (25/10).
Accompanied by Former Minister of Environment Mr. Akif, H.E. Abdul Salik visited the Muhammadiyah Office of Jakarta. Abdul Salik told Chairman of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah Anwar Abbas that Muhammadiyah is an Islamic movement highly concerning with fields of social, health, education, and human resources.
“Muhammadiyah plays essential roles. We expect that relations between Muhammadiyah and Pakistan can be reinforced,” hoped Abdul Salik.
Regarding the development of a nuclear hospital, Pakistan provides Muhammadiyah huge occasions. Besides, Former Minister of Environment Mr. Akif wished that Indonesia possesses great regulations on the use of nuclear medicines.
Even though it sounds unfamiliar, there have been a number of hospitals offering nuclear medicines such as RS Cipto Mangunkusumo Jakarta, RS Gading Pluit Jakarta, MRCC Siloam, RS dr. Soetomo Surabaya, and RS Murni Teguh Medan. They utilized nuclear energy for cancer radiotherapy under the supervision of the National Nuclear Energy Board (BATAN) and Nuclear Energy Supervision Board (Bapeten).
“This area is a mean of strengthening relations between Pakistan and Indonesia, particularly an Islamic organization. H.E. Abdul Salik boosts Muhmmadiyah to collaborate in realms of religion and human resources. He also appreciates the performance of Muhammadiyah,” added General Treasurer of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah Muhammadiyah Suyanto.
