MUHAMMADIYAH. ID, MERAUKE- Secretary of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah Agung Danarto attended preaching conducted by Regional Board (PDM) of Merauke on Saturday (2/11).

In his preaching, Agung stated that Muhammadiyah believes that religion focuses on not only the hereafter but also the mundane aspects. Due to the belief, Muhammadiyah through its charities performs socio-religious activities to develop this nation and the people.

“The believers should do good deeds which are a part of entire faith,” asserted Agung.

Beside, religion must be learned, grasped, and implemented through the good deeds which benefit other people.

“The notion becomes a characteristic of Muhammadiyah teachings,” added Agung.

He also emphasized that the good deeds should be in the blood of Muhammadiyah members.

“If the good deeds are organized, they will be fostered,” stated Agung.
