MUHAMMADIYAH.ID, PALEMBANG – General Chairman of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah Haedar Nashir appreciated Nasyiatul Aisyiyah (NA) for conducting Tanwir II (a conference prior to a congress).

Raising a theme of ‘Gerakan Keluarga Muda Tangguh untuk Kesejahteraan Bangsa’ (Tough Young Family Movement for the National Welfare) is essential to boost developed society to participate in a movement of ‘returning to family’.

“In the midst of disorientation in the era of social destruction, family is the giant of power. When people cannot survive in social shifts, family is the best place to return. When people get more ambitious, we can ensconce ourselves in family,” declared Haedar.

A proverb saying ‘my home is my paradise’ is not rhetoric. Haedar conveyed that the NA program is appropriate to create peaceful family.

“The NA should rebuild the power of family as a pillar of community and this nation,” emphasized Haedar.

He added that family having high mobility should be able to manage their time well so that peaceful family becomes a dynamic strength to perform dakwah and tajdid.

“Family bears a movement of sadaqah (the voluntary giving of alms or charity) and performing good deeds. Hence, NA and Muhammadiyah families exist to enlighten community,” asserted Haedar.
