MUHAMMADIYAH.ID, PONTIANAK – General Chairman of Ikatan Pelajar Muhammadiyah (Muhammadiyah Student Association – IPM) conducted Tanwir (a conference before the congress) of the IPM at Pendopo Gubernur Kalimantan Barat on Friday (15/11).

General Secretary of the Central Board Muhammadiyah Abdul Mu’ti attended the opening of the Tanwir.

He declared that the IPM as one of the Muhammadiyah autonomous organizations Muhammadiyah has showed its contribution and achievements.

“Raising a theme of ‘Hope Shines Here, I wish that this Tanwir is a starting point to make the hope come true,” expected Mu’ti.

He also emphasized that the IPM cadres should become problem solvers.

“This organization should be able to resolve issues instead of being a troublemaker because many organizations from the establishment has created problems.

Besides, Muhammadiyah appreciates the IPM’s achievements.

“IPM becomes one of the best organizations in not only Indonesia but also Southeast Asia,” informed Mu’ti.

He was also proud of the militancy of IPM.

“The IPM is eminent for its militancy and ideology so that, if leaders are IPM cadres, they must have great nationality and understanding of Muhammadiyah,” expressed Mu’ti.

As mentioned on IPM March, IPM cadres unite to interweave a great relationship and to be ready for this nation and the people.

“IPM cadres are prepared to be the next leaders in both Muhammadiyah and Indonesia,” he conveyed.
