MUHAMMADIYAH.ID, JAKARTA– President of the Prosperous Justice (PKS) Sohibul Iman visited Muhammadiyah Office of Jakarta on Wednesday (14/12).

Sohibul accompanied by Secretary General of the PKS Mustafa Kamal and Vice President Syuro Hidayat Nur Wahid was welcomed by General Chairman of Muhammadiyah Haedar Nashir. During the visit, they had discussion on potential and challenges of Indonesia.

“The PKS and Muhammadiyah discuss the future of Indonesia. We have a lot of assets of politics, culture, spiritual, and social so that we are optimistic about Indonesia to be a huge nation,” declared Haedar.

He conveyed that the aspects should be supported by mental, mind, and national goal sustainability. The PKS, Muhammadiyah, and other elements play roles as people’s power to criticize and provide recommendations for government’s policy to be in line with this nation’s goals.

Haedar also maintained that Indonesia and Pancasila in accordance with Muhammadiyah’s vision as Darul ‘Ahdi wa Syahadah may not be betrayed. The PKS, Muhammadiyah, and Indonesian Muslims may not be related to narratives of anti-NKRI and Pancasila.

“Pancasila is a bottom line of all national powers. It is the greatest contribution of Muslims. We always go hand in hand, and attempt to integrate Islam and Indonesia. Hence, all elements of this nation should grasp that Islam is a national integration power and there are not any threats from Muslims,” emphasized Haedar.
