Jakarta-The Seminar strategy of Washing out NII from Campus, held at the Auditorium 4th floor, on May 11, 2011, Uhamka Rector, Prof.. Dr. H. Suyatno, M. Pd stated that NII attacked universities across Indonesia, including in Uhamka.

"We will continuously monitor and prevent the development of this NII virus at Uhamka. Prevention is very important in the effort of saving students from recruitment by NII activists who still roam around the campus, "he said.

Suyatno added, the growing NII in the university environment is very dangerous for the stability of the campus itself. Besides causing unrest among parents, it also spread among students. Therefore, Uhamka has an obligation to protect and keep the students from NII virus attacks.

"Uhamka has responsibilities to parents who had sent their children to Uhamka to be educated as a good student and character. Therefore Uhamka will continue to take preventive efforts of NII virus breeding in the campus environment, "said Rector.

According to Suyatno, Uhamka had already set 5 strategies to stem the spread of NII virus in the campus environment. First, Uhamka will perform data collection on students who had become activists NII and who had become victims of the NII. Especially for the victims of the NII, Uhamka would do supervision and rehabilitation as well as for students to embrace it again become a good student and successful.

Second, Uhamka will conduct seminars and dialogues about the NII that students would really understand the history, struggles and strategies of the NII movement. Third, Uhamka PTM will hold a Greater Jakarta with the theme "Networking Against NII PTM."

Fourth, Uhamka will continually campaign either through banners, pamphlets and writings about the dangers of NII. And fifth, will instruct to the faculty of Al Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan (Aiki) to continue to disseminate to students about NII movement. (www.uhamka.ac.id)
