MUHAMMADIYAH.ID, LOMBOK– General Chairman of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah Haedar Nashir attended and officially opened Tanwir of Muhammadiyah Student Association (IMM) on 6-9 February 2020 in Lombok, Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB). He came along with General Chairman of the Central Board of Aisyiyah Siti Noordjannah Djohantini.

In his remark, Haedar stated that if the IMM would like to develop its movement, IMM cadres shoud consider this changing world.

“The IMM cadres have to foster their capabilities and competencies, and understand an identity of the IMM,” declared Haedar on Thursday (6/2) at Hajj Dormitory of Nusa Tenggara Barat.

In the context of the people, nationality, and global, development and dynamics are complexso that the IMM cadres should be able to adapt to the changes but remain maintaining their identity.

“The IMM has to prepare for complicated future challenges,” advised Haedar.

He expected that the Tanwir could become a forum yielding intellectual debates having tajdid vigor and civilized attitudes or akhlaqul karimah.
