MUHAMMADIYAH.ID, JAKARTA – Going to the 88th anniversary of Pemuda Muhammadiyah (Muhamamdiyah Youth Association), Minister of Youth and Sports Zainudin Amali advised Pemuda Muhammadiyah cadres to maintain renewable traditions in a realm of social charity.
“Established in 1923, I believe that this organization has confronted a lot of dynamics and given multifaceted contributions. Being required or not by this nation, Pemuda Muhammadiyah will always contribute. This organization is a pioneer of youth movements in Indonesia,” expressed Zainudin in a webinar of the 88th Anniversary Commemoration of Pemuda Muhammadiyah on Saturday (2/5).
Having vigor of tadjid and dakwah of amar makruf nahi munkar as a principle of the organization, Zainudin noticed it as a foremost asset to reach its glory in the 88th anniversary.
“It is a strong foundation for the organization to move forward. Hizbul Wathan contributed enormously in the era of achieving the independence of Indonesia. Afterwards, youth organizations commenced emerging as KOKAM played huge roles in 1965,” mentioned Zainudin.
“It is a portrayal of love of the youth organizations towards this nation. I wish that their existence remain because Muhammadiyah is a dynamic renewable movement,” hoped Zainudin.
