If a masjid has yet had the data, Treasurer of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah Marpuji Ali encourages masjid managers to leverage this COVID-19 pandemic to commence the data recording.

“The data gathering should have been a responsibility for the masjid managers, and it can begin right now,” stated Marpuji.

At the Ramadan program of Muhammadiyah Television (TVMu) on “Masjid-Based Congregation Empowerment in the COVID-19 Pandemic” on Saturday (9/5), Marpuji regarded that the data collection is necessary as a basis to assist people who need aids.

“In a community, there must be the rich and the needy. Indeed, many people, particularly the underprivileged cannot go to work due to this pandemic. The data will reveal whether or not the people need help when they get sick and how the masjid managers can formulate means of empowering the people. Thus, we can perform worship tranquilly,” explained Marpuji.
