MUHAMMADIYAH.ID, JAKARTA – Indonesian Military (TNI) commander Air Chief Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto thanked Muhammadiyah for its tremendous contributions to tackle a COVID-19 outbreak.

In Silaturahim TNI- the National Police (POLRI) and the Central Board of Muhammadiyah on Thursday (4/6), Hadi stated that Muhammadiyah has actively performed huge efforts to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of volunteers have promoted preventive activities to raise public awareness.

“Muhammadiyah plays strategic roles in promoting health protocols. Now is time to go hand in hand to encounter this pandemic,” declared Hadi.

Meanwhile, General Chairman of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah Haedar Nashir propelled Muhammadiyah youths to perform their social activities.

“I expect Muhammadiyah youths to maintain good relations with TNI and POLRI in molding a sovereign personality, having noble attitudes and high integrity, and contributing to this nation. We have to preserve our relations to foster Indonesia. I believe that our brotherhood will develop this nation. Insya Allah, Muhamamdiyah will lead the sovereignty,” expressed Haedar.
