MUHAMMADIYAH.ID, JAKARTA – After distributing food packages from the President of the Republic of Indonesia in some areas in Jabodetabek on Thursday (11/6), the Central Board of Pemuda Muhammadiyah (Muhammadiyah Youth Organization) delivered other aids, provided in the collaboration with Ministry of Social Affairs, in Marunda, Jakarta Utara on Tuesday (16/6).

Led by the General Chairman of Pemuda Muhamamdiyah Cak Nanto, the aids were spread to fishermen and low income people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We are delighted and thank Pemuda Muhammadiyah for the aids since it alleviates our burden. May Allah reward the Pemuda Muhammadiyah,” expressed Rarat representing Marunda People.

Besides, Cak Nanto informed that Pemuda Muhammadiyah has distributed 10.000 food packages whose funds were collected independently by the COVID-19 task force of Pemuda Muhamamdiyah in several areas of Jabodetabek.

During the pandemic, Pemuda Muhammadiyah has been performing social activities with the task force.

“The social activities are done by Pemuda Muhammadiyah throughout Indonesia because our actions are inspired by Al-Maun,” stated Cak Nanto.
