MUHAMMADIYAH.ID, YOGYAKARTA - Madrasah Mu'allimaat Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta conducted Class of 2019-2020 Virtual Graduation Ceremony on Sunday (28/6).
In his remark, Board of Trustees of the Madrasah Mu'allimaat Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Agung Danarto stated that many life aspects and dimensions such as politics, economy, social, and culture entail enlightenment of Muhammadiyah.
“We hope that alumni of the Madrasah Mu'allimaat Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta can become pioneers to foster the aspects,” wished Agung.
Furthermore, General Chairwoman of the Central Board of ‘Aisyiyah Siti Noordjannah Djohantini expected that the alumni could be cadres of ‘Aisyiyah.
“Cadres who graduated from the Madrasah Mu'allimaat Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta should possess knowledge beyond horizons and can drive this life through dakwa to promote amar ma’ruf (commanding the good, forbidding the bad) and to contribute to this nation and universal humanity,” declared Noordjannah.
She also mentioned challenges of ‘Aisyiyah dakwah are quite tough nowadays, particularly dealing with issues of humanity and women.
“We have to endeavor and give contributions to answer problems. Solving the issues requires broad views and persistence of dakwah,” added Noordjannah.
She, then, advised the alumni to implement their knowledge and keep learning so that they can see the world and perform dakwah.
In addition, the virtual graduation ceremony was attended by General Chairman of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah, Board of Trustees of the Madrasah Mu'allimaat Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, Chairman of the Muhammadiyah Regional Board of Yogyakarta, representatives of Department of Education of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, parents, and students.
