MUHAMMADIYAH.ID, YOGYAKARTA - General Chairman of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah Haedar Nashir stated that Madrasah Mu'allimaat Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta should become a center of excellence and uswah hasanah.

“I recognize that the Madrasah Mu'allimaat Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta under the monitor of board of trustees can build great international collaboration and seek different cooperation. This is an excellent asset,” declared Haedar in Class of 2019-2020 Virtual Graduation Ceremony on Sunday (28/6).

Being the center of excellence is not a mundane matter separable from Islamic values.

“Being the center of excellence, creating history, and altering the future are not a mirage. They are parts of Islam and characteristics of Mu'allimaat alumni,” conveyed Haedar.

Haedar also affirmed that having skills is the other trait of Mu'allimaat alumni.

“Intelligence should become a state of mind wherever the alumni are and they can foster it,” asserted Haedar.

He advised that the alumni should become a leader. Indeed, they have to drive and evolve ‘Aisyiyah wherever they are, and they have to be marvelous generations possessing bold characters.
