MUHAMMADIYAH.ID, YOGYAKARTA – General Chairman of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah Haedar Nashir ‘Tilik’ (had a visit to) health workers of Muhammadiyah and ‘Aisyiyah hospitals virtually.
“We would like to share the same feeling in confronting this COVID-19,” stated Haedar.
He added that, when we have performed our best, but it occurs out of our control, everything is on Allah’s will.
On behalf of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah, Haedar expressed his condolences of the passing of medical workers and wished that their families remain tough, strong, and patient.
“May the deceased become martyrs, and may God give them the best place. We believe that Allah gives life and causes death,” expressed Haedar.
He also advised all healthy people to utilize their health to hifdzun nafz (keep themselves), take care others not to be infected by the virus, sympathize and empathizes with the grief and suffering of COVID-19 patients.
“That’s what we call ikhsan,” asserted Haedar.
He, then, encouraged all elements of this nation to totally endeavor and give their best attempts to save our last guardians, the health workers.
