Having Tanwir in the Midst of the Pandemic, General Chairwoman Propels Cadres to Remain on Track

MUHAMMADIYAH.ID, YOGYAKARTA – Beginning Tanwir III(a conference prior to Muhammadiyah congress) of Nasyiatul ‘Aisyiyah (NA), General Chairwoman of the NA Diyah Puspitarini offers her condolences of the passing of 105 doctors, 8 dentists, 70 nurses, 1 midwife, 1 lab staff, 1 health worker because of the COVID-19.

Conducting on Sunday (6/9) and raising a theme of ‘Revive to Tackle the COVID-19 and Contribute to This Nation’, in her remark Diah asserted that the NA would remain silent to confront the pandemic. The NA has taken active roles since Muhammadiyah COVID-19 Command Center was established in March 2020.

Regarding the Tanwir theme, besides focusing on family resilience, Diah encouraged all NA members to leverage their creativity and potential during this pandemic.

“Sincerity of the members will enhance blessings of this movement,” wished Diyah.

At the 89th year of its establishment, the NA has given contributions to people and this nation. Thus, each member of the NA should assure this movement to always be in the right tracks.

“We have to stay sincere, dedicate ourselves, highly commit, collaborate, and expand NA scope to foster this nation and universe. We, from the central to regional boards, should work persistently to develop NA,” expressed Diyah.

Furthermore, Tanwir III possessed three agendas of the technical execution of Mukatamar NA (NA Congress) 2020. First, it was a report from the end of Tanwir II to now delivered by the Central Board of the NA.

Second, it was continued by a report from 34 regional boards of the NA and responds to deferment of NA Congress XIV. Last, it was closed by a main decision of Tanwir III.
