MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, YOGYAKARTA – The increasing number of COVID-19 patients tells that this pandemic is not over yet.

A lot of parties are concerned about it since many health workers become the COVID-19 sufferers.

The Central Board of Muhammadiyah always appeals the public to maintain their health and have a clean and healthy lifestyle.

Former General Chairman of Muhammadiyah 1998-2008 Ahmad Syafi’I Ma’arif expressed his concern by sending a letter to President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo on Sunday (13/9).

Buya Syafi’i as one of the eldest person in this nation felt that the passing of 115 health workers was heartbreaking.

Thus, Buya urged the President to command Ministry of Health and his people to endeavor to save lives of health workers.

“If this condition is prolonged, this nation may become unsteady because many health workers pass away during performing their duties,” asserted Buya Syafi’i.

On his last message, Buya also thanked the President.
