MUHAMMADIYAH.ID, JAKARTA – In the midst of this pandemic and a lot of national issues, the Central Board of Pemuda Muhammadiyah (Muhammadiyah Youth Association) conducted an online National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) for the Organization and Forum Division of the Pemuda Muhammadiyah Regional Board on Sunday (27/9).

Raising a theme of “Fostering Dakwah of Cadres and the Universe”, the Rakornas which had been planned to be organized in Kalimantan Timur but cancelled was aimed at arranging organization regulations during this pandemic, including formulating a big data system saving data of cadres and preachers of Pemuda Muhammadiyah throughout Indonesia.

In his remark, General Chairman of the Pemuda Muhammadiyah Sunanto expected that the Pemuda Muhammadiyah could always innovate and all division could work together as a unity.

“This improvement is undertaken to enhance potential of the Pemuda Muhammadiyah cadres to that they can widely contribute to this nation and promote wasathiyah (being moderate),” declare Cak Nanto.

Besides, opening the meeting, General Chairman of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah Haedar Nashir encouraged the Pemuda Muhammadiyah to be agents of change in all remote areas of Indonesia and disseminate religious thoughts of Muhammadiyah which are moderate, enlightening, and progressive.

In addition, the meeting was virtually attended by 134 people of 34 Pemuda Muhammadiyah regional boards. The Rakornas was also officially opened by the Speaker of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR) Zulkifli Hasan and Minister of Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD.
