MUHAMMADIYAH.ID, JAKARTA – Chairman of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah Dadang Kahmad regretted French President Emmanuel Macron’s statement insulting Prophet Muhammad.

“It is deplored that the statement made by a developed modern state leader who is supposed to have universal ethics upholding and respecting religious symbols and figures,” declared Dadang on Thursday (29/10).

Dadang conveyed that the French President’s speech showed intolerance of other people’s belief to venerate their religious leader.

“All people should respect other believers and do not allow others to affront any holy figures no matter how the condition is,” asserted Dadang.
