Sleman– Central Leadership (PP) 'Aisyiyah distributes funds raised from donors for economic empowerment to victims and cold lava eruption of Merapi in the form of goats, on Wednesday (02/02/2011) at Masjid Boyong, Hargobinangun, Pakem, Sleman.

A total of 22 goats for Rp. 17. 600.000, - distributed to 20 families and Head of Branch Manager (PC) 'Aisyiyah by lottery system.

Household economic empowerment program through the provision of these goats are part of Merapi disaster rehabilitation program that was launched PP 'Aisyiyah to residents of Sleman and Magelang.

Chairman of the PP 'Aisyiyah, Siti Hadiroh Ahmad, S.Pd., in her speech conveyed, livestock aid is one form of affirmation of faith through the economic aspect. PP 'Aisyiyah, according to Hadiroh, called for the trials that befell the victims who lost family, homes and livelihoods caused by cold lava of Merapi eruption will not undermine the faith community.
