Medan - Thousands of prospective student of new Academic Year 2011/2012 University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatera (UMSU) Second adminssion, Phase II registration of 25-30 July 2011, had crowded the parking lot UMSU Campus since early morning at Jl. Kapten Mukhtar Basri No.3 Medan to see the announcement of the test entrance examination results held on August 1, 2011, and the announcement of August 2, 2011.

Confirmation of journalists to the Chairman of Admissions Committee (Penmaru) UMSU year 2011/2011 H. Suhrawardi K. Lubis, SH, SpN, MH via the Chief of Public Relation UMSU Anwar Bakti said that from 1835 new students following the entrance exam test on the scond admission phase II, 1739 candidates passed.

Thus, Anwar said, until Wednesday (10 / 8) UMSU had accepted 5433 new students for the year of 2011/2012. He continued, UMSU still opened registration at phase III from August 1 to 12, 2011, Phase IV period was from August 13 to 20, 2011 and phase V from August 22 to 27 2011. For further admission, UMSU still concentrated on opening night classes, because morning and afternoon classes schedules at every faculty had almost been filled.

Meanwhile, Anwar said, the UMSU Rector Drs. Agussani M.AP expressed his excitement with the high interest of prospective students entering UMSU. "We are grateful people still give credit to UMSU to educate their children," said Rector.

He saidthat for year 2011/2011, UMSU had conducted tight selection of prospective students to get student with no doubt competence. "This is in order to realize the UMSU motto as a higher education which is superior, intelligent and reliable in order to produce reliable and high accomplished alumni," he concluded.
