Yogyakarta – Baitul Arqam (BA) is not only a program of STIKES Aisyiyah, it is also a congressional mandate to make the centers of Muhammadiyah/Aisyiyah movement under the context of implementing the mission of the movement through charitable efforts. This was as stated by Noordjanah Djohantini, the Central Chairman of Aisyiyah, when she opened Baitul Arqam for leaders of STIKES Aisyiyah Yogyakarta on Friday, May 5. 2014

Furthermore, Noordjanah explained that Baitul Arqam was especially made for the chairmen because STIKES Aisyiyah will form a formative leadership. The role and responsibility could not be separated from charitable efforts. As a chairman, s/he has to think of how to improve the institutions.

Meanwhile, Warsiti, the Chairman of STIKES Aisyiyah Yogyakarta, expressed his appreciation for they were able to hold the event in order to strengthen the organization to manage the charitable efforts of Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah.

MPK PPA (Majelis Pembinaan Kader Pimpinan Pusat Aisyiyah or Cadre Education Council of Central Aisyiyah) provided the facilities of this event. Some materials were Affirmation of Muhammadiyah Ideology (Peneguhan Ideologi Muhammadiyah), Revitalization of Ideology (Khittah Perjuangan, Kepribadian Muhammadiyah), Understanding Advanced Islam (Paham Islam yang Berkemajuan), Strengthening Tauhid and Praxis Al-Maun (Penguatan Tauhid dan Praksis Al-Maun).
