Gresik – The Second National Seminar and Workshop on Cadre System of IPM (Youth Organization) was held in Gresik, East Java since Thursday to Saturday (5/15-5/17). It was held in SMP Muhammadiyah 12 Gresik, Kota Baru. The General Secretary of Muhammadiyah Central Executive Board, Agung Danarta, was able to come and did the opening of the event. In front of hundreds of Kabupaten Gresik IPM cadres, he reminded that it was essentially important to finish the cadre system affairs. He hoped SP IPM will be the perfect guide to conclude the education of cadre in IPM. IPM is the first cadre organization, went through a long winding process as students to college students.

The Chairman of IPM Central Executive, Fida Afif, also explained the process of the first National Seminar and Workshop on Cadre System of IPM in Yogyakarta, and finally they held the second seminar in Gresik. The process explained was the dynamic process of IPM cadre system in the regional and provincial finally were brought into the national forum such as the national seminar and workshop, as well as how they gathered the suggestions and advices in the process of successfully establishing the new SPI.

The Youth Organization (IPM) today of course will give major infestation on cadre process for the future Muhammadiyah and for the Nation. Therefore, the curriculum of cadre system will have to be organized early. Thus, the graduated cadres will be ready for the future challenge from Muhammadiyah and the Nation. (dzar)
