Samarinda – In the second Tanwir Muhammadiyah 2010-2015 which was held in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, Muhammadiyah published book entitled, Indonesia Berkemajuan; Rekonstruksi Kehidupan Kebangsaan yang Bermakna. This book contained Muhammadiyah thoughts for the Nation in the future.

The Chairman of Muhammadiyah Central Executive, Haedar Nashir, in his explanation stated that Muhammadiyah wants to see Indonesia as a big and prideful country; the problems faced by the Nation should be solved wisely and intelligently, and has to refer to the Nation’s noble personality. Whereas, the General Chairman of Muhammadiyah Central Executive, Din Syamsuddin aspired that through the thoughts on the Nation’s vision included in the books, the Government and Muhammadiyah will be able to work together to realize Indonesia as prosperous, just, and sovereign country. “Indonesia’s goal is to be a prosperous, just, and sovereign country. This is the primary contextual interpretation of what Muhammadiyah means by Indonesia yang berkemajuan,” he said on Sunday (5/25).

Previously, in the presentation of President Candidates’ vision and mission held on Saturday (5/24), the President Candidates, Jokowi and Prabowo, also received the book (Indonesia Berkemajuan) containing the concepts for the future Indonesia. Din Syamsuddin hoped that whoever the President is, he will be able to realize Muhammadiyah thoughts as written in the book, for the developed Indonesia. (mac)
