Yogyakarta – Muhammadiyah will not form a success team (Timses/tim sukses) for any President Candidate for 2014 Presidential Election. If a group establishes one under the name of Muhammadiyah, it is a personal one and has no relation with the organization.

It was as stated by the Central Chairman of Muhammdiyah, Haedar Nashir, when he was confirmed about the trend of Success Team of President Candidate for 2014 Presidential Election under the name of Muhammdiyah, through a short message service to Muhammadiyah Editorial on Saturday (5/31). “Muhammadiyah and Tanwir Muhammadiyah in Samarinda remained neutral and will not be involved in any support team for any President candidate,” he said. Furthermore, Haedar Nashir stated that, Muhammdiyah through Tanwir Muhammadiyah in Samarinda set the criteria for National Leadership in Maklumat Kebangsaan, and did not refer to any of the President-Vice President Candidates.

Din Syamsuddin, the General Chairman of Muhammadiyah Central Executive, in Tanwir Muhammdiyah in Samarinda (5/23) stated that Muhammadiyah will remain in their track of not supporting specific Presidenti candidate. “Muhammadiyah will promote valuable politics, moral politics, and will not affiliate to any political party,” he explained.
