Boyolali – Held in Hotel Horison Gambir Anom, Jln. Raya Embarkasi Haji Gagaksipat Boyolali, LAZISMU held a National Zakat Meeting 2014 some days ago, from Tuesday-Thursday (5/27-29). The meeting talked about the important aspect of improving the service of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah (ZIS). The quality of information on the empowering program and fundraising of ZIS for LAZISMU was based on the correct database and information. Until today, one of the problems faced was related to the reinterpretation of organizational aspect after the ratification of President Decision No. 14 of 2014 concerning on the implementation of Law on Zakat Management. Currently, LAZISMU and all networking in Indonesia were struggling on preparing for the basic concept of differentiation as a whole.
The Main Director of LAZISMU, M. Khoirul Muttaqin stated that the social transformation became strict and competitive, expecting them to give something new, fresh, and egalitarian. However, substantially, the philanthropic and alignments values became the part of LAZISMU’s performance professionally.
Furthermore, the Fundraising Director of LAZISMU, Nanang Q. el-Ghazal explained that the initial communication target was networking. Since networking was, without doubt, the main gate for people to welcome the communication. This meant, LAZISMU with their networking, made sure that the first step would be paralleling the vision and mission. The togetherness and equality spirit became one of strategies for good communication. Besides encouraging for the prospective networking that might be established, this would also reach the voices of groups or communities between personals; and organizational aspect will also influence the partnership activities on philanthropic stage.
Meanwhile, the communication marketing practitioner, M. Arief Budiman also stated that the rebranding step done by LAZISMU would refresh the performance and send a good visual identity. “This can be seen through graphic system as the representation of identity recognized through its visual. In the future, visual communication will be adapted in various media, related to the opportunity and its challenge in interacting with philanthropic communicants,” he explained.
Therefore, the today shared point of view and awareness had to be innovated that in their shared context that the have was no longer a subject, and the poor (dhuafa) was no longer as the object. LAZISMU made serious effort to interact with the collective approach. Moslems have the task to raise the dhuafa’s status as the subject. Especially in the context of ZIS, we had to support, facilitate, and help the dhuafa humanely. This would be a challenge for us. Spiritual power would be stronger if the difficult situation became the empowering power to rise, stand up, and face the future. (mona, Irma, dzar)
