Yogyakarta - Literature and Information council of Muhammadiyah (MPI) in collaboration with Central Board of Muhammadiyah Student Association (IPM), Radio Muhammadiyah, as well as Muhammadiyah Website held a Broadcast Training taking a theme of the Recognizing and Enjoying the Broadcasting World on Sunday (22/6).
The activity taken place in Muhammadiyah Building at 103 KHA Dahlan Street in Yogyakarta was attended by students of Muhammadiyah in Yogyakarta. "The goal is to create and develop the trainee broadcasting talent before joining a new family in Radio Muhammadiyah," said Dhar Al Banna, Program Director of Radio Muhammadiyah.
Dhar also added the presence of Radio Muhammadiyah was inseparable from the emergence of community radio stations, such as FM Radio of Radja owned by central board of IPM, which previously had broadcasted together with Radio Muhammadiyah broadcasts Live Streaming. Radio is expected to be one of Muhammadiyah resources, in addition to websites, magazines and TV Muhammadiyah. So Muhammadiyah movement could run well through the radio.
Abbey Mukti, Chairman of the Committee also reported that this activity will be conducted each semester (6 months) so that it became a cadre event of Radio Muhammadiyah and Radio Radja. "Today students need a place of self development, one of them through the world of broadcasting," said ASBO secretary of Province Committee of IPM.
Deputy Secretary of MPI as well as the Person in Charge of Radio and Websites, Iwan Setiawan, welcomed the Radio Muhammadiyah team conducting this training.
