Makassar – Director of Pendidikan Ulama Tarjih of Muhammadiyah University of Makassar, KH. Jayatun conveyed message to mubaligh and mubalighat of Muhammadiyah to always prioritize spreading the teaching softly, and to give concrete solution for every problem instead of the imaginary ones.

This was stated by KH Jayatun in Farewell Event for the students of Pendidikan Ulama Tarjih in Masjid Rusunawa C, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar, South Sulawesi, on Saturday (6/21). For Ramadhan month 1435 H, PUTM UM Makassar will send 30 students to spread the teaching in all provinces in South Sulawesi. Besides the Mubaligh of PUTM, the students of Muhammadiyah University of Makassar, the supervisory lecturers, and the Chairman of South Sulawesi Muhammadiyah Provincial Executive also attended the event. KH Jayatun hoped that the students who studied as religious scholars will be able to use their knowledge to do spread the teaching and not getting involved in khilafiyah problem, which might be able to destroy Muslims’ unity.

KH Jayatun also stated that Muhammadiyah mubaligh candidates not to get involved in political problems, because the Presidential Election will significantly influence the social life, including in spreading Islamic teaching. “The students, who are also mubaligh candidates, should not get involved in political problems, instead, spread your teaching professionally with the main mission of amar ma’ruf nahi mungkar,” he confirmed.
