Yogyakarta - There is a difference about the start of Ramadan between Islamic organizations. Muhammadiyah decided the 1st of Ramadan 1435 H falls on June 28, 2014. Muhammadiyah's decision was taken based on hisab hakiki wujudul hilal method.

However, monitoring carried out by a team of tajdid and tarjih assembly of Central Board of Muhammadiyah could not see it due to unfavorable weather conditions in Yogyakarta.

Oman argued that the monitoring of the new moon yesterday (Friday) did not intend to determine the beginning of the month, but the science observations. "Not just for today, we often make observations. In many opportunities, Muhammadiyah astrophotography teams often conduct monitoring and calculations. Monitoring the new moon is not to determine the beginning of the month but to test the results of the calculation.
