Jakarta – The Central Executive of Muhammadiyah in Jakarta Office organized Ramadan Study 1435 H held at the Muhammadiyah STMIK of Jakarta Campus, East Jakarta Ciracas. For this time, this routine activity which is held every Ramadan took the theme of “Enlightenment Dakwah Towards the Improving Indonesia “.
In his report, the Committee Chairman who is also the chairman of Muhammadiyah STMIK of Jakarta, Faiz Rafdhi M.Kom, explained that the number of participants attended in this study reached more than 350 delegates coming from Provincial Executive, Regional Executive and District Executive of Muhammadiah from several regions in Indonesia. This study took place from 5-7 July 2014.
On Saturday, July 5, 2014The chairman of Muhammadiyah, Prof. Dr.Din Syamsuddin, MA., in his opening of the study as well as keynote speech, delivered on the Indonesian vision according to Muhammadiyah, Muhammadiyah understanding about Indonesia's ideal which was also the verdict of Muhammadiyah Tanwir in East Kalimantan few months ago that "The improving Indonesia is a reconstruction of meaningful national life ". Muhammadiyah movement is a movement of enlightenment and Muhammadiyah dakwah is enlightenment dakwah. So the point is how enlightenment dakwah as a path of Muhammadiyah members towards the improving Indonesian or improving Islam for improving Indonesian.
In response to the participant’s question about the political views of Muhammadiyah in the 2014 presidential election which was associated with the theme of the improving Indonesia, Din Syamsuddin answered that we should be moderate, Muhammadiyah members should not be too extreme. “Support your candidate normally, take middle position in supporting your choice because may be that after July 9, 2014, Muhammadiah members should make thick note of the phenomenon of how many political figures competing in the 2014 presidential election that used to hate each other, now support their competitors clearly.
