Malang – Muhammadiyah entered the second century with the concept of knowledge, an action without any thoughts was impossible. Muhammadiyah needed some thoughts from its young members to conduct praxis movement. Gerakan Praksis Muhammadiyah in the field of advanced social movement should be supported with advanced thinking too. This was as stated by The General Chairman of Muhammadiyah Central Executive, Din Syamsuddin, in the opening of Tadarus Pemikiran Kaum Muda Muhammadiyah, which was held by Jaringan Intelektual Muda Muhammadiyah (JIMM) in Muhammadiyah University of Malang (UMM) on Thursday (7/17).

Din hoped that Tadarus Pemikiran Kaum Muda will produce advanced thinking for post-one-century movement. Din also hoped that there will be intellectuals who are able to study Al Quran such as Tafsir At Tanwir, who interpret Al Quran with Muhammadiyah way of thinking

This event was attended by intellectual young cadres of Muhammadiyah from Angkatan Muda Muhammadiyah (IPM, IMM, Nasyiatul Aisyiyah (Young Female), and Pemuda Muhammadiyah (Young Male). This event will continue until Saturday (7/19) with the presentation of advanced thinking for praxis social movement of Muhammadiyah. (dzar)
