Sleman – Valentine’s Day for Muslims are on Ramadhan Month, when Muslims share whatever they have with other. Ramadhan nuance should always decorate our days so that we become a devout Muslim. In this Syawal month, we should stand firm on our roles for the vision of STIKES ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta, which is to become the best Medical School in Indonesia in 2016. This was stated by the Chairman of STIKES ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta, Warsiti, when she gave her opening speech on Syawal Celebration on Tuesday (8/12) in Auditorium Siti Baroroh Baried, STIKES 'Aisyiyah campus ground.

Meanwhile, Badan Pembina Harian (BPH) STIKES 'Aisyiyah, Siti 'Aisyah, emphasized that Syawal month should be filled with the improvement for our pray. Pray is interpreted by praying directed towards Allah SWT and in social term. The activities of STIKES ‘Aisyiyah faculty members were a form of praying; so that the performance should be improved in Syawal month.

This statement was also supported by dr. Agus Taufiqurrohman who attended the event as lecturer. He explained that practicing Islamic teaching was not only in its spirituality domain, it should also be applied in all aspects in our lives. Taqwa is not limited in space and time. “The routine for Ramadhan month prayers such as reciting Al Qur’an, sholat lail (night prayer), shodaqoh, and so on should also be done in the subsequent months,” he added.
