Yogyakarta- In accordance with the decision of Central Executive of Muhammadiyah on Ramadhan 1, Syawwal 1, Dzulhijah 1, 1432 H (Islamic calendar), Eid-al-Fitr prayer is done on August 30, 2011. Concerning the event, Muhammadiyah DIY has done coordination with regional to subdistrict levels to provide thousands of locations for Eid prayer that aim for facilitating people.
The news was informed by Agus Taufiqqurrahman, the Muhammadiyah chairman of DIY province, through his short message to the editorial of Muhammadiyah website on Saturday night (20/08/2011). According to Agus, the locations provided aim for facilitating people in doing Eid prayer. Agus said the General Chairman of Central Executive of Muhammadiyah, Din Syamsuddin, is scheduled to be the Khatib (Preacher) at Yogyakarya North Square.
