Malang – LAZISMU Kota Batu and the Board Member of Muhammadiyah Youth Organization (Pemuda Muhammadiyah) of Kota Batu held a Qurban in the small areas with people in need. Dusun Mbales Kecamatan Ngantang Kabupaten Malang became the main target location of this event. Remembering that eight months ago this area was one of the disaster areas of Gunung Kelud eruption and until now the area was still in recovery phase for post Kelud eruption.

All members of LAZISMU and the Board of PCPM Batu gave some sacrificial animals including one cow and five goats. This event was directed to 120 households of Kelud eruption victims some months ago. The people of Ngantang appreciated the event held by LAZISMU and Muhammadiyah Youth Organization because the residents of Desa Mbales were not able to do qurban for two years. 

Zakki Fitroni as the chief of event expressed his gratitude since they were still able to hold qurban this year. “Alhamdulillah, we are still given the opportunity, we will help our brothers who are truly in need. Thank you to mudhohhy (people who gave the sacrificial animals) who already give their sacrificial animals, I hope it will be useful,” he said. (bayu)(dzar)
