Yogyakarta – The spirit of HizbulWathan in the guerilla war done by General Soedirman remained intact until today, in the form of scouting role of HizbulWathan in spreading Muhammadiyah teaching. This was delivered by the General Chairman of Central Kwatir, UunHarunSyamsuddin, in the Opening Ceremony of 2^ndTanwir of GerakanKepanduanHizbulWathan held in SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta, JalanKapas, Semaki, Umbulharjo, Yogyakarta, on Friday night (12/12).

He believed that in the 2^ndTanwir, they would evaluate the activities after the 1^stTanwir held in Yogyakarta in 2012. They would also plan the next step, which was JamboreNasionalPanduPengenal that would be held in August 2015 in Bantimurung, Maros, Sulawesi Selatan. This event would be held along with the 47^thMuktamarMuhammadiyah in Makassar. The 2^ndHizbulWathan would also determine the host for the 3^rdMuktamarHizbulWathan.

The 2^ndTanwirHizbulWathan (HW) was attended by 24 Provincial Kwatir of HizbulWathan in Indonesia, the representatives of qobilah HW of Muhammadiyah schools in Special District of Yogyakarta (Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta). The representatives of Muhammadiyah Universities around Indonesia (represented by the Rectors of each university) also attended the event.

The 2^ndTanwir was opened by the Chairman of Central Executive of Muhammadiyah, DahlanRais. He appreciated this event because it was a proof that HW becoming more popular and developed significantly. On Saturday morning (12/13), the committee of Tanwir held PawaiTaaruf that started in LapanganAsri UMY in Wirobrajan, to the office of Muhammadiyah Central Executive in Jalan KH Ahmad Dahlan, the office of PDM Kota Yogyakarta in Jalan Sultan Agung, and finished in SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta in JalanKapas.
