Central Board of Muhammadiyah Students Association Implements Special Training of Journalists

Jakarta(12/23/14). Central Board of Muhammadiyah Students Association presented specialized journalism training, on UHAMKA campus Pasar Rebo, 23 to 24 December 2014. The event was a direct collaboration with the Media Centre of Muhammadiyah.

AzrizalNasri, Head of Media and Communication Central Board of Muhammadiyah Students Association explained that he training of journalists was conducted as a follow-up program of Central Board of Muhammadiyah Students Association to gain people who would manage the print and online media of Central Board of Muhammadiyah Students Association.

BeniPramula, Chief of CentralBoard of Muhammadiyah Students Association, gave his appreciation to this activity. It should be conducted on an ongoing basis as a measure of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah Students Association to globalize movement. He hoped every leader Muhammadiyah Students Association throughout Indonesia could do the same thing.

Beforeimplementing the Specialty Journalism Training, CentralBoard of Muhammadiyah Students Association conducted Broadcasting Seminar by presenting speakers of Public Accountability Board (BAP) Regional Executive Board Republic of Indonesia (Drs. Abdul Gafar Usman, M.Sc), Commissioner of theIndonesian Broadcasting Commission (Dawn Isnugrohoho) and the Head of Sub Broadcasting KOMINFO.

The event executed perfectly with the greatest hope of CentralBoard of Muhammadiyah Students Associationto globalize bond movement, because with the help of the media,the information could be channeled properly and it had become the spearhead of information and a subject for public consumption. According to Edy Kus from Muhammadiyah TV, the media who should educate the community was no longer a neutral act now. It had been eroded even made people scared with the news delivered.
