Yogyakarta—Indonesia would host the Asean Economic Community (AEC) in 2015 in which Malaysia was one of the member. Both of these countries would further require each other. In addition, they did not only need to understand each other about each other's culture but also different legal systems. Therefore, to prepare it, 18 students of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) paid a visit to the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) to study the legal system that was taught to students as well as its application in Indonesia.

 The visit which was followed by 15 students and 3 postgraduate students of the Faculty of Law (Faculty of Law) University of Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) was greeted by Nasrullah, SH., S.Ag. MCL., Director of International Program for Law and Sharia of University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta in the courtroom of the Integrated Campus of Faculty of Law in University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. The visit was conducted on Thursday (22/01) conducting the theme of "Connecting Culture: Intra-Relation of Knowladge Programme 2015".

 In his speech, Nasrullah said that the visit was important in preparation for AEC in 2015. For those other than open market economy in ASEAN level, it would also open all the opportunities of the law graduates from various countries, both from Malaysia to Indonesia and Indonesia to Malaysia. The graduates were also likely to take part in the Asean Economic Community, which will be more focused on the field of law.

 "I see that this visit is an important one to the understanding of the law. It will be very meaningful to friends from Malaysia about what the Indonesian legal system looks like. We must also continue to open up as a student to understand the common law system”, he said.

Nasrullahadded, according to the Malaysian experience who had been to University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, they realized that Indonesia had been through a lot of progress naturally. He explained that the Malaysian people who never came to University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta would definitely lookthe University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta andMuhammadiyah incredible, because of being able to develop the community in the areas of education, health and others independently.

“They were aware of many advances that we have experienced, the more so when they came to University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, were something extraordinary, because no one Muslim organization in Malaysia is able to move the educational and health institutions as we do. Indonesia where people are more independent, while they are used to subsidize in many ways there, all is done by the government, so that when they know that the Muhammadiyah organization is able to mobilize more than 170 universities, it is a wonderful thing for them "said Nasrullah.
